We are a enthusiastic team of professionals who believe in family, and want to help you provide for your family and business. Rick and Wendy Hughes started Hughes & Associates in 2007 and have quickly become one of the Top Agencies in this region.
Rick Hughes is our founder and CEO. His first career was as a College Basketball Coach where for 25 years he was successful in motivating, teaching, recruiting, and winning. Rick was an assistant at the University of Florida as well as the Head Men's Basketball at Lee University from 1999-2005.
At the age of 46, Rick entered the insurance industry and quickly became one of the most successful agents in America. He was promoted to a management position. He was then hired by an Insurance Company to be a Director and later was promoted to Field Vice-President.
Wendy is the CFO as well as handling all customer service and retention matters. She has always been involved in Education. She has her Master's Degree from Lee University in Psychology/Counseling. She was an instructor at Wabash Valley Community College as well as Lee University. She taught at LU from 2002-2008.
